Barong Dance
The Barong Dance is a beloved Balinese performance that represents the struggle between good and evil. It tells the story of Barong, which represents good and protector of humans, fighting off the demon queen Rangda.
Tegenungan Waterfall
An oasis just outside of Ubud city, Tegenungan is one of the most accessible waterfalls to visit. The nearby restaurant offers elevator service for patrons, or the stairs to the bottom take about 5 minutes to walk down. Swimming is possible if you'd like to take a dip in the refreshing water.
Monkey Forest
Long-tailed Balinese macaques inhabit this sacred Balinese Hindu site. The monkeys are believed to protect the area and the three Hindu temples inside.
