Tirta Empul (Holy Water Temple)

This holy water spring is more than 1000 years old and still serves as one of the most important temples for purification. You can bathe in the springs wearing a traditional sarong, or just take in the atmosphere.

Barong Dance

The Barong Dance is a beloved Balinese performance that represents the struggle between good and evil. It tells the story of Barong, which represents good and protector of humans, fighting off the demon queen Rangda.

Tegenungan Waterfall

An oasis just outside of Ubud city, Tegenungan is one of the most accessible waterfalls to visit. The nearby restaurant offers elevator service for patrons, or the stairs to the bottom take about 5 minutes to walk down. Swimming is possible if you'd like to take a dip in the refreshing water.

Monkey Forest

Long-tailed Balinese macaques inhabit this sacred Balinese Hindu site. The monkeys are believed to protect the area and the three Hindu temples inside.
